UJN President Scholarship
The UJN President Scholarship is awarded by the University of Jinan to outstanding international students enrolling in full-time postgraduate or PhD programmes. It covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend for PhD students. The scholarship lasts three years for postgraduate and four years for PhD study.

Overview
The scholarship supports international students with excellent academic records in postgraduate and PhD programmes at the University of Jinan. Most programmes are taught in Chinese; some schools offer English-taught options. The duration stated in the Admission Letter is fixed and cannot be extended.
Coverage
Tuition fee waiver; free on-campus dormitory accommodation; comprehensive medical insurance; and a monthly stipend of RMB 2,000 for PhD students. The stipend is paid in full for months where registration occurs on or before the 15th; half payment applies if registration is after the 15th. Payments stop if the student leaves China for personal reasons for more than 15 days.

Applications must be submitted between 1 March and 15 May each year. Applicants complete the online form at http://admission.ujn.cucas.cn and email scanned supporting documents to [email protected]. Successful applicants receive their Admission Letter and JW202 form before 15 July.

Required documents include the completed application form, notarised copy of the highest diploma, academic transcripts, and any other supporting documents specified by the University of Jinan. All documents must be submitted in duplicate.

- •Citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and in good health.
- •Bachelor’s degree holder under age 30 for postgraduate programmes; master’s degree holder under age 40 for PhD programmes.
- •Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 3.0.
- •For Chinese-taught programmes: HSK Level 5 or above. For English-taught programmes: meet the University of Jinan’s English language requirements as set out in its admissions rules.
