The University of Electronic Science and Technology offers scholarships for new foreign graduate students pursuing master's or doctoral degrees. First-class covers tuition, accommodation, health insurance, and a monthly living allowance of 1500 RMB; second-class covers tuition, accommodation, and health insurance (PhD only); third-class covers tuition and health insurance (master's only). Overview
The scholarship is for new foreign graduate students enrolling in master's or doctoral programmes at the University of Electronic Science and Technology. It is awarded at the time of admission and not available to current students.
Coverage/Benefits
First-class: tuition, on-campus accommodation, health insurance, and 1500 RMB/month living allowance. Second-class: tuition, accommodation, and health insurance (PhD only). Third-class: tuition and health insurance (master's only). Airfare and settlement allowance are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals, physically and mentally healthy, law-abiding, academically strong, and not receiving any other scholarship simultaneously. Master's recipients receive funding for up to two years; PhD recipients for up to three years.
Application
Applications are accepted from 20 December to 31 March. Applicants must submit required materials truthfully during UESTC’s admission process. No separate application is accepted from current students.
