Coverage/Benefits

Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and not recipients of Chinese government scholarships. Undergraduate applicants must be ≤30 years old and hold HSK 5; master’s applicants ≤35 years old; doctoral applicants ≤40 years old.

Category A applications were accepted from 15 December 2017 to 31 March 2018. Applicants must apply online via USTC’s international student portal.
Documents
Required documents include the scholarship application form, passport copy, notarised highest academic certificate and transcripts, two professor recommendation letters (one for undergraduates), study plan, CV, language proficiency certificate, and physical examination form. All documents must be in English or Chinese.
