The Friendship Scholarship is awarded to self-financed international students enrolled at Wuhan University of Technology for at least one academic year.
Coverage/Benefits
The scholarship covers tuition fees only: full exemption (First Prize), 50% reduction (Second Prize), or 30% reduction (Third Prize) for the awarded academic year. It does not cover accommodation, airfare, health insurance, living allowance, or settlement allowance.
Eligibility
Applicants must be self-financed academic students enrolled for at least one academic year; have no record of unexcused absences exceeding 20 hours per semester, late returns, fee defaults, or failing grades; and rank in the top three in academic performance within their grade, level, and discipline. Final candidates must maintain an average score of at least 80 (First Prize), 75 (Second or Third Prize), and continue to rank in the top three after supplementary coursework.
Application
Students are automatically included in the evaluation process if they submit the annual evaluation form and transcripts by 31 May each year. Preliminary candidates must complete any missing coursework by 30 September.
Documents
Required documents include the annual evaluation application form (covering September 1 of the previous year to May 31 of the current year) and transcripts for the natural year (January 1 to December 31 of the previous year).
