Xiamen University Scholarships for New International Students
Xiamen University offers scholarships for new international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees. Funded by the university, awards cover tuition for all levels and include monthly living allowances (RMB 3,500 for doctoral, RMB 3,000 for master’s) for first-class postgraduate awardees only. Undergraduate students are eligible for tuition-only second-class awards. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health within age limits.

Overview
Xiamen University provides scholarships to new international students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degree programs. First-class awards are available only for master’s and doctoral students and include both tuition coverage and a monthly living allowance. Second-class awards cover tuition only and are available for all three levels.
Coverage
First-class: tuition plus monthly living allowance of RMB 3,500 (doctoral) or RMB 3,000 (master’s). Second-class: full tuition coverage for up to 4 years (doctoral), 2–3 years (master’s), or 4–5 years (undergraduate). Undergraduate students are not eligible for first-class awards.

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Bachelor’s applicants must be under 25; master’s under 40; doctoral under 45. Bachelor’s applicants require a high school diploma; master’s applicants a bachelor’s degree; doctoral applicants a master’s degree.
