Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens from Belt and Road countries. Undergraduate applicants must have a high school diploma and be aged 25 or younger. Master's applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and be aged 35 or younger. Doctoral applicants must hold a master's degree and be aged 40 or younger. Non-degree applicants must be aged 45 or younger. Applicants must meet the language requirements of their chosen program and must not be receiving other scholarships.
Application
Application periods vary: March 1 to June 30 annually for undergraduate and non-degree programs; November to March annually for master's and doctoral programs. Master's and doctoral applicants apply via USTC’s Chinese Government Scholarship independent enrolment process; separate application for this scholarship is not required.
