Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Siyuan International Student Scholarship
The Xi'an Jiaotong University Siyuan International Student Scholarship supports non-Chinese bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree students with full tuition exemption and a monthly stipend paid for 12 months per year. It is administered directly by XJTU and requires annual academic review after registration. Applications for bachelor’s programmes run from 1 March to 30 June; for master’s and doctoral programmes, from November to March. Master’s and doctoral applicants must apply via the Chinese Government Scholarship–Chinese University Program (CSC) system—standalone Siyuan applications are not accepted.

Overview
Xi’an Jiaotong University established the Siyuan International Student Scholarship to support outstanding non-Chinese nationals enrolled in full-time bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree programmes.
Coverage
Full exemption from tuition fees and a monthly stipend disbursed for 12 months each academic year. Continued funding is conditional upon passing the compulsory annual academic review conducted after registration.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good health, and meet XJTU’s admission requirements for their chosen degree level. Bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral applicants must all register as degree students at XJTU. Master’s and doctoral applicants must submit their application through the Chinese Government Scholarship–Chinese University Program (CSC) portal; applications submitted solely for the Siyuan Scholarship are invalid.
Application
Bachelor’s programme applications: 1 March–30 June annually. Master’s and doctoral programme applications: November–March annually. All applicants must apply online via XJTU’s official international student application system and comply with CSC Chinese University Program procedures for graduate applicants.
