Xiangtan University Excellent International Students Scholarship
The Xiangtan University Excellent International Students Scholarship is awarded by Xiangtan University to enrolled international undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who demonstrate diligence, strong academic performance, and active participation in campus life. It is granted annually to up to 15% of the total international student population. Award amounts are 3000 RMB for undergraduates, 4000 RMB for master’s students, and 5000 RMB for doctoral students.

Overview
The Xiangtan University Excellent International Students Scholarship rewards enrolled international undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who are diligent, hardworking, and academically excellent. Up to 15% of the total number of international students enrolled at the university each academic year are eligible. The scholarship amount is 3000 RMB for undergraduates, 4000 RMB for master’s students, and 5000 RMB for doctoral students.
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently enrolled international students at Xiangtan University; abide by Chinese laws and university regulations; maintain correct attitude and diligence, with class attendance rate not less than 95% and no unexcused absences, lateness, or early departures; achieve excellent academic results; and actively participate in student activities with strong performance. Students who violate laws or university rules are disqualified.
Application
Applications open annually from 15 to 25 September. Applicants must submit: (1) the completed 'Xiangtan University Excellent International Students Scholarship Application Form'; and (2) the final report card from the previous academic year. Students apply individually; applications are reviewed and endorsed by their respective colleges before submission to the International Students Section Office, International Exchange College. A scholarship evaluation committee conducts the final assessment.
