The Yanshan University Master's Scholarship for Foreign Students is exclusively for master's degree students. It offers two tiers: first class covers application fee, tuition, and accommodation; second class covers application fee and tuition. Overview
This scholarship is for foreign nationals pursuing a master's degree at Yanshan University. Instruction is in Chinese or English. Applicants must hold a foreign passport and be in good health.

First Class Scholarship: exemption of application fee, tuition fee, and accommodation fee. Second Class Scholarship: exemption of application fee and tuition fee.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens under 35 years old, hold a bachelor’s degree, and meet language requirements: HSK level 5 or above for Chinese instruction; IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 85 for English instruction. Recipients may not hold other Chinese government or Confucius Institute scholarships.

Applications are accepted annually from December 20 to May 20.

Required documents include the Yanshan University Scholarship Application Form, passport copy, admission application form with photo, notarised highest academic qualification certificate and transcripts, personal resume, physical examination record, language proficiency certificate (HSK 5+, IELTS 6.5+, or TOEFL 85+), personal statement, and two recommendation letters from associate professors or above.
