Yanshan University Scholarship Program for International Students （Matster‘s Degree Program）
The Yanshan University Scholarship Program is for international students enrolling in master’s degree programmes. It is funded by Yanshan University and covers tuition, registration, and accommodation fees depending on the award level. The scholarship is valid for three years, extendable to four years if one year of Chinese language study is required. Most courses are taught in Chinese.

The Yanshan University Scholarship Program supports international students enrolled in full-time master’s degree programmes at Yanshan University.
Coverage
First-class scholarship covers registration fee, tuition fee, and on-campus dormitory accommodation fee. Second-class scholarship covers registration fee and tuition fee.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and be in good health. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age. Awardees of the Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship, or other scholarships are not eligible.
Application
Applications must be submitted by 20 May each year. Documents should be mailed to the College of International Exchange, Yanshan University.
Documents
Required documents include: (1) completed YSU admission application form for international students (with photograph); (2) copy of passport (photo page); (3) certified copies of bachelor’s diploma and academic transcripts; (4) physical examination form for foreigners; (5) HSK-5 or HSK-6 certificate for Chinese-taught programmes, or IELTS ≥6.5 / TOEFL ≥85 for English-taught programmes; (6) personal statement; (7) two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors.
