Full scholarships cover tuition (25,000 RMB/year), accommodation (4,800 RMB/year), living expenses (10,800 RMB/year), and medical insurance (800 RMB/year). Partial scholarships cover tuition only (25,000 RMB/year).
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens from Belt and Road countries, aged 18–45, in good health, and willing to abide by Chinese laws and university regulations. They must hold an undergraduate degree recognised by China’s Ministry of Education and possess HSK level 4 proficiency.
Application
Applicants must apply directly to Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. The application includes submission of academic documents, passport copy, HSK certificate, and photos. Shortlisted candidates undergo an interview organised by the university.

Required documents include academic degree documents (e.g., undergraduate degree certificate), passport copy, HSK score certificate, and ten 4 × 6 cm photos. Documents not in English or Chinese must be accompanied by notarised translations.
