The Zhejiang University of Science and Technology Scholarship for Outstanding Chinese Language Students is awarded to self-financed foreign students enrolled in Chinese language programmes. Coverage/Benefits
The scholarship provides monetary awards: first prize RMB 2,000 (awarded to 2% of Chinese language students), second prize RMB 1,500 (4%), and third prize RMB 1,000 (6%). Accommodation, airfare, health insurance, living allowance, settlement allowance, and tuition are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be self-financed foreign students enrolled in Chinese language programmes, maintain a final evaluation score of ≥90, have no more than 20 hours of absence per semester, and actively participate in university-organised public welfare and social practice activities.
Application
Applications are submitted twice per year: by 30 June and 10 January. Winners are announced at the end of each semester.
Documents
Required documents include: completed scholarship application form; current semester transcript; and a letter of recommendation from the class teacher.
