Overview

Category A: full tuition exemption for one academic year. Category B: 50% tuition waiver for one academic year or semester. Category C: 20% tuition waiver for one academic year or semester. Category D: RMB 500 per person for older students.
Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, or language programmes and be no older than 18. Chinese language proficiency requires at least New HSK Level 4, except for English-taught majors or advanced Chinese language students. Applicants must have foreign nationality, good conduct, good academic records, and no concurrent scholarships.
Application
Applicants must mail hard-copy application materials to the International Students Office at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and simultaneously send scanned copies to [email protected]. Scholarships must be reapplied for annually.

Required documents include: (1) Zhejiang University of Science and Technology enrolment application form; (2) scholarship application form; (3) passport copy; (4) highest academic qualification certificate (with Chinese/English translation if needed); (5) transcripts (with translation); (6) two recommendation letters (for master's, doctoral, and advanced trainees); (7) Foreigner Physical Examination Record (valid within six months); (8) legal guardian documents (for applicants under 18); (9) HSK or English proficiency certificate (if any); (10) other documents as notified.
