ZSTU President Scholarship for International Students

The ZSTU President Scholarship is offered by Zhejiang Sci-Tech University to international master’s and doctoral students. It covers tuition and registration fees, on-campus twin-bed dormitory accommodation (utilities excluded), a monthly living allowance (1,700 CNY for master’s, 2,000 CNY for doctoral students), and comprehensive medical care. The master’s scholarship lasts three years.

  • Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old; doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
  • Two recommendation letters from professors are required for both master’s and doctoral applicants.
  • Chinese-taught programmes require HSK Level 4 with minimum scores: 180 (Arts), 195 (Science, Technology, Economics, Management), 210 (Humanities, Law).
  • English-taught programmes require one of: native English speaker status; prior degree taught entirely in English; TOEFL iBT ≥80; or IELTS ≥5.5.
  • Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good health, of good conduct, academically competitive, and not receiving any other Chinese scholarship.
