About Shenyang Urban Construction University
Shenyang Urban Construction University (SYUCU), formerly Urban Construction College of Shenyang Architectural University, was founded in July 2000. In 2013 the Ministry of Education approved it as an independent full-time undergraduate university. It has more than 11,000 registered students and offers degree programs in Architecture Design, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Road Traffic, Project Management, Mechanical Manufacturing, Electronic Information, and Art Design. The campus is in Hunnan District, Shenyang, in a university town that also includes Shenyang Institute of Science and Technology, Haihua College of Liaoning Normal University, Xinglin College of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Northeastern University, Shenyang Sport University, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, and the new campus of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. Nearby are Liaoning Provincial Library, Liaoning Science and Technology Museum, and Liaoning Provincial Museum. The campus covers 62 hectares with more than 300,000 square meters of buildings. Facilities include a circular main building of about 50,000 square meters with multimedia classrooms; a lakeside library of about 19,000 square meters with 800,000 books; Second Teaching Building and laboratories covering about 280,000 square meters; an International Communication Centre of about 140,000 square meters; and a Student Activity Centre of about 8,000 square meters

Shenyang Jianzhu University
Shenyang Jianzhu University (SJZU) is the only comprehensive university in Liaoning Province that prioritizes civil engineering and architecture while also covering engineering, arts, administration, natural science, agronomy, and law. The campus covers about 1 million square meters, with roughly 440,000 square meters of building space. Campus planning emphasizes human-centered design and balance between people and nature. A 756-meter corridor—described as the longest in Asia—links teaching, laboratory, living, and administration areas. SJZU has 17 schools and about 1,400 professional faculty, including nearly 400 professors and associate professors. Enrollment is about 16,000 undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students. Over the past 10 years, its graduate employment rate has ranked at the top among universities in Liaoning Province. Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Mechanical Engineering are provincial key subjects. Materials Science and Engineering is classed as a key subject with special advantage in Liaoning. The university also has 11 province-level major subjects, 16 province-level key laboratories, and 6 province-level engineering and technological research centers. Shenyang Aerospace University
Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) is in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning in northeast China — a city with a long history and a modern heavy-industry base, often called China’s “Aviation City,” with multiple aeronautics manufacturers and research institutes. Global aerospace firms such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, and Cessna have manufacturing sites there; other advanced industries include automotive (BMW) and chemicals. Founded in 1952 and located in Shenyang’s Northern College Town, the campus covers about 1,200,000 m² with 600,000 m² of buildings. Students and teachers designed and built an aircraft that flew as early as 1958. Northeastern University (NEU) was founded on 23 April 1923. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and located in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province. It is a multidisciplinary university with a strong engineering focus, comprising a Graduate School, Qinhuangdao Branch, School of Continuing Education, 12 schools, and a Department of Physical Education. Programs: 55 majors; master’s degrees in 171 subjects plus MBA, MPA, and Engineering Master; doctorates in 81 subjects; 13 postdoctoral stations.
