Sichuan Agricultural University
Sichuan Agricultural University, established in 1906, is based across three campuses in Ya’an, Chengdu, and Dujiangyan. It focuses primarily on agricultural sciences and biotechnology while maintaining teaching and research activity across science, engineering, economics, medicine, law, and the humanities. The university hosts 22 colleges and 12 research institutes, offering undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral programmes. With over 37,000 students and nearly 3,200 academic staff, it supports a broad range of disciplines, several of which rank among China’s top ten nationally. Its programmes are accessible to international students, with some delivered fully in English and others taught bilingually. The student body includes learners from more than sixteen countries across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
