Xidian University Huashan Scholarship
The Xidian University Huashan Scholarship supports international degree students enrolled at Xidian University. It is funded by the university and offered in three tiers: Distinguished (tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, and monthly allowance), Outstanding (tuition waiver only), and Excellent (partial tuition waiver). The allowance is 1,000 CNY per month for master’s and general scholars, and 1,200 CNY per month for doctoral and senior scholars.

Overview
The Huashan Scholarship is awarded by Xidian University to support outstanding international students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees.
Coverage

Eligibility
Applicants must have a minimum academic average of 85% in their most recent degree. Language requirements depend on programme medium: HSK Level 4 with score ≥180 for Chinese-taught programmes; IELTS ≥6.0 or TOEFL ≥80 (or top 10% academic ranking) for English-taught programmes.

Applications close on 10 June each year. The application form is available for download at http://sie.xidian.edu.cn or can be requested from the School of International Education.
Documents
Required documents include the completed Huashan Scholarship application form, highest degree certificate, official transcript, one recommendation letter, and a study or research plan of at least 800 characters.
