NUAA Outstanding International Student Scholarship
The NUAA Outstanding International Student Scholarship is awarded by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to international students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programmes. It includes separate awards for new entrants (freshmen) and continuing students, with values ranging from RMB 5,000 to RMB 20,000, or free first-year accommodation for undergraduate second-prize recipients.
NWNU President’s Scholarship
The Northwest Normal University President’s Scholarship is awarded annually to non-scholarship international students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programmes at NWNU. Applicants must maintain good academic performance and hold HSK Level 4. The scholarship provides CNY 7,000 for bachelor’s, CNY 8,000 for master’s, and CNY 12,000 for doctoral students.
JUFE-Scholarship for international students
Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) offers a tiered scholarship for international students across four categories: PhD (A), master’s (B), undergraduate (C), and non-degree/exchange (D). Each category has three annual award tiers applied as tuition offsets. Total annual funding is capped at 200,000 RMB, supporting up to 15% of eligible students.

Funded by Jiangsu Normal University, it offers around 300 seats annually. Applicants must be non-Chinese, in good health, meet JSNU admission requirements, and be under 35 years of age.
International Student Scholarship of Guizhou Normal University
Guizhou Normal University offers two scholarship pathways for international students: the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) Independent Enrollment for degree programs, and its own university-funded Chinese Advanced Student Program. CSC awards follow national standards for tuition, accommodation, stipend, and insurance; university scholarships offer full or half packages covering tuition, accommodation, and insurance. Instruction is primarily in Chinese.
Hohai University Scholarship
Hohai University Scholarship is offered by Hohai University for international master’s and doctoral students. It provides full awards covering tuition, lodging, living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance, or partial awards covering tuition only. The 2018 application period ran from 1 January to 30 May via the university’s online system.
Huazhong University of Science & Technology Scholarships
Huazhong University of Science & Technology offers the President Scholarship for 25 outstanding international students enrolling in 2-year English-medium non-medical master’s programmes. Funded by HUST, it covers tuition only and is renewable annually upon passing an appraisal at the end of the second semester.
Jiangnan University New Student Scholarship
Jiangnan University New Student Scholarship supports international students enrolling in bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD programs. Funded by Jiangnan University, it covers full tuition and accommodation fees for the duration of the program. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, within age limits, and hold the required prior qualifications.
Hunan Normal University scholarship for Foreign Students
The Hunan Normal University Scholarship for Foreign Students is awarded to outstanding self-funded international students enrolled at Hunan Normal University. It is funded by the university and offered in two types: Comprehensive Award and Individual Awards. Applications are accepted annually between 1 March and 31 May.
Harbin Normal University Chinese Government Scholarship
The Harbin Normal University Chinese Government Scholarship is a full scholarship for international master’s and doctoral students, funded by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It covers registration, tuition, accommodation, a monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance equivalent to that provided to domestic students. A preparatory Chinese language year is included if required.
HIT Qingrui Scholarship for International Students
The Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Qingrui Scholarship is co-funded by HIT and Daqing Zhongyou Qingrui Petroleum Technology Co. Ltd. It supports non-Chinese bachelor’s and master’s applicants in English-medium programmes, and Chinese-medium bachelor’s applicants with strong academic backgrounds. Three classes offer varying combinations of tuition waiver, housing fee waiver, and monthly living allowances (1,000–1,300 CNY).
Harbin Engineering University Scholarship for International Students
Harbin Engineering University (HEU) offers three-tiered scholarships for international students applying to or enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programmes. Funded by HEU, the scholarships provide full tuition plus living allowances (Full), full tuition only (First Prize), or 50% tuition reduction (Second Prize), awarded based on academic average scores.
Guizhou Minzu University Scholarship
Guizhou Minzu University offers tiered scholarships (Classes A–D) for international bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students. Class A covers full tuition (12,000 CNY/year), accommodation, and a monthly living stipend of 600–1,000 CNY for undergraduates or 1,000–1,500 CNY for postgraduates, paid for ten months per year. Lower classes provide partial tuition and/or accommodation support.
Guilin University of Electronic Technology- President Scholarship
The Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET) President Scholarship supports first-year international students in English-taught undergraduate programmes. It covers tuition of RMB 8,500, plus mandatory accommodation fees (as ruled), insurance (RMB 800), and registration (RMB 700). Visa, medical examination, and other incidental costs are self-funded. Eligible applicants must be under 25, have sufficient English proficiency, and apply for Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or Computer Science and Technology.
Hebei University of Technology Chinese Government Scholarship
Hebei University of Technology administers the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) for international graduate students. It covers tuition, accommodation, monthly stipend, and medical insurance for up to three years (master’s) or four years (doctoral). The scholarship is funded by the Chinese Ministry of Education via the China Scholarship Council.
Harbin Institute of Technology-Chinese Government Scholarship
The Harbin Institute of Technology Chinese Government Scholarship is funded by the China Scholarship Council and administered by HIT. The HIT Outstanding International Freshman Scholarship is offered by Harbin Institute of Technology for new international undergraduate, postgraduate, and exchange students. Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University Scholarship (FAFUS), established in 2013, supports outstanding international master’s and doctoral students. It covers full tuition, standard accommodation, insurance, and a monthly allowance of 2,000 CNY (master’s) or 2,500 CNY (doctoral). Intake is limited to 10 master’s and 20 doctoral students for September 2018.
Excellent New Students of Dalian Maritime University
Dalian Maritime University (DMU) awards its Excellent New Students Award to newly enrolled international students across language, preparatory, undergraduate, and master’s programmes. The award is worth RMB 2,000 and may be converted into a tuition discount for the next study term, including across different learning programmes. Selection occurs in May (spring) and November (autumn).
Excellent Undergraduates Award of Dalian Maritime University
The Excellent Undergraduates Award of Dalian Maritime University is a merit-based scholarship for international undergraduate students. It is funded by Dalian Maritime University and offers up to RMB 8,000 per award cycle. Selection occurs in May and November, and recipients may receive a tuition discount for the next study term.
Gannan Normal Universtiy The One Belt and Road Scholarship
