Zhejiang University Scholarship for International Postgraduate Students
Zhejiang University offers the Scholarship for International Postgraduate Students to master’s and doctoral candidates. Type A provides full tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, a monthly stipend (CNY 1,700 for master’s, CNY 2,000 for doctoral), and comprehensive medical insurance. Type B provides free on-campus accommodation, the same monthly stipend, and insurance. Applicants must meet ZJU admission requirements, have strong research potential, hold no other scholarships, and be under 35 (master’s) or 40 (doctoral).
Xiangtan University Excellent International Students Scholarship
The Xiangtan University Excellent International Students Scholarship is awarded by Xiangtan University to enrolled international undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who demonstrate diligence, strong academic performance, and active participation in campus life. It is granted annually to up to 15% of the total international student population. Award amounts are 3000 RMB for undergraduates, 4000 RMB for master’s students, and 5000 RMB for doctoral students.
Wenzhou University Presidential Scholarship-First Class (hereinafter Scholarship I)
Wenzhou University Presidential Scholarship–First Class (Scholarship I) is a merit-based tuition reduction award for newly admitted international bachelor’s and master’s students. University of Science and Technology of China CAS-TWAS President's Fellowship Programme for Doctoral Candidates
The CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme at the University of Science and Technology of China supports non-Chinese doctoral candidates from developing countries. Funded jointly by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and TWAS, it covers full tuition and provides a monthly stipend of 7,000 CNY (before PhD qualification test) or 8,000 CNY (after passing), including accommodation, living expenses, local travel, and health insurance for up to four years.
University of Science and Technology of China Scholarships
The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) Scholarship supports non-Chinese international students in two categories: Scholarship A for degree-seeking students (bachelor, master, doctoral) and Scholarship B for non-degree exchange students. It is funded by USTC and covers tuition waivers plus monthly stipends. Application deadlines and eligibility differ by category.
Wuyi University International Student Scholarship
The Wuyi University International Student Scholarship is awarded by Wuyi University to excellent new or currently enrolled international students. It offers three tiers: full, first-class, and second-class. The full scholarship covers annual tuition (14,000 CNY), accommodation (1,300 CNY), application and registration fees (200 CNY each), and a monthly living allowance of 1,000 CNY. Lower tiers reduce coverage progressively.
University of Science and Technology of China CAS "The Belt and Road" Master Fellowship
The CAS 'Belt and Road' Master Fellowship, funded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, supports master’s study at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), University of CAS, or CAS institutes. It is open to citizens of Belt and Road countries and provides a tuition waiver plus a monthly stipend of RMB 4,000 for up to three years.
Wenzhou University Enrollment Scholarship for Chinese Major International Students
Wenzhou University offers the Enrollment Scholarship for Chinese Major International Students (Scholarship B) to newly admitted non-Chinese students enrolling in Chinese language programmes. It awards RMB 2,000, 1,500 or 1,000 per semester based on merit. Applicants must hold high school qualifications or higher, be in good health, and submit documents before 10 May or 20 November.
Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Siyuan International Student Scholarship
The Xi'an Jiaotong University Siyuan International Student Scholarship supports non-Chinese bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree students with full tuition exemption and a monthly stipend paid for 12 months per year. It is administered directly by XJTU and requires annual academic review after registration. Applications for bachelor’s programmes run from 1 March to 30 June; for master’s and doctoral programmes, from November to March. Master’s and doctoral applicants must apply via the Chinese Government Scholarship–Chinese University Program (CSC) system—standalone Siyuan applications are not accepted.
Wenzhou University Scholarship for Outstanding International Students
Wenzhou University’s Scholarship for Outstanding International Students (Scholarship C) supports continuing international students enrolled for more than one semester in bachelor’s, master’s or Chinese language programmes. It covers 60%, 30% or 20% of one-year tuition, depending on academic performance and class attendance rank (top 1/6, 1/3 or 1/2 respectively). Applications close on 10 September annually.
University Scholarships of Jinzhou Medical University
Jinzhou Medical University offers two types of scholarships for international students enrolled in English-medium undergraduate and postgraduate programmes: a general scholarship (RMB 16,000 per year for postgraduates; RMB 2,500 per year for undergraduates) and an outstanding class scholarship (RMB 2,000, 1,000 or 500 per semester). Both may be held simultaneously. Awards are assessed twice yearly in March and September, requiring a minimum course score of 70 per semester.
USTB Chancellor Scholarship
The USTB Chancellor Scholarship is offered by the University of Science and Technology Beijing to non-Chinese international students enrolling in master’s or doctoral programmes. It provides full scholarships covering tuition, on-campus accommodation, monthly living allowance, and medical insurance, as well as partial scholarships. Applications open from 1 March to 30 April.
University Scholarship for New Students at UESTC
The University Scholarship for New Students at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) is awarded to outstanding incoming international master’s and PhD applicants. It offers three tiers: first class covers full costs plus a monthly living allowance; second class (PhD only) covers tuition, accommodation, and insurance; third class (master only) covers tuition and insurance. Awards are decided during new-student recruitment.
University of Chinese Academic of Sciences CAS “The Belt and Road” Master Fellowship Programme
The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) 'The Belt and Road' Master Fellowship Programme is funded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) to support up to 120 master’s students from Belt and Road countries. It covers tuition, a monthly stipend of 4000 RMB (including 1000 RMB from UCAS faculty/CAS institute), and mandatory Chinese language and culture training for up to one year, followed by research and thesis work for up to two more years.
University of Chinese Academic of Sciences CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme for Doctoral Candidates
The CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme, jointly administered by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences, supports up to 200 doctoral candidates from developing countries to study at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences or University of Science and Technology of China for up to four years. It covers tuition, a monthly stipend, travel, and visa costs.
USTB B&R Excellent Freshman Scholarship
The USTB Belt & Road Excellent Freshman Scholarship is offered by the University of Science and Technology Beijing to international bachelor applicants from all majors. It is funded by the university and covers full or partial costs including tuition, on-campus accommodation, a monthly living allowance of 2,500 CNY for bachelor students, and comprehensive medical insurance.

The UCAS Scholarship for International Students is offered by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences to support non-Chinese nationals pursuing Master’s or Doctoral degrees, joint programmes, or academic visits at UCAS faculties or Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) institutes. Yunnan University of Finance and Economics MBA Scholarship under “the Belt and the Road”
The Yunnan University of Finance and Economics MBA Scholarship under ‘the Belt and Road’ is funded by the university and targets international students from South and Southeast Asia. It supports full-time MBA studies taught primarily in Chinese, with a duration of three years.
Yanshan University Scholarship Program for International Students (Docteral Degree Program)
The Yanshan University Scholarship for International Students is exclusively for non-Chinese doctoral candidates enrolling in Yanshan University’s Doctoral Degree Program. It covers registration, tuition, on-campus accommodation, a monthly allowance of CNY 1,400, and a one-off settlement subsidy of CNY 2,000. The scholarship is valid for four years, extendable to four years if one year of Chinese language study is required.
UJN President Scholarship
The UJN President Scholarship is awarded by the University of Jinan to outstanding international students enrolling in full-time postgraduate or PhD programmes. It covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend for PhD students. The scholarship lasts three years for postgraduate and four years for PhD study.
Yanshan University Scholarship Program for International Students (Matster‘s Degree Program)
The Yanshan University Scholarship Program is for international students enrolling in master’s degree programmes. It is funded by Yanshan University and covers tuition, registration, and accommodation fees depending on the award level. The scholarship is valid for three years, extendable to four years if one year of Chinese language study is required. Most courses are taught in Chinese.
Yunnan Minzu University The Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)

It is funded by the China Scholarship Council under China’s Ministry of Education. Coverage includes full tuition, on-campus accommodation, health insurance, and monthly living stipends.
Tianjin University International Student Scholarship School of Civil Engineering
Tianjin University School of Civil Engineering offers scholarships for international master’s students in Building and Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, and Naval and Ocean Engineering.
