The Xi'an Jiaotong University Siyuan International Student Scholarship supports non-Chinese bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree students with full tuition exemption and a monthly stipend paid for 12 months per year. It is administered directly by XJTU and requires annual academic review after registration. Applications for bachelor’s programmes run from 1 March to 30 June; for master’s and doctoral programmes, from November to March. Master’s and doctoral applicants must apply via the Chinese Government Scholarship–Chinese University Program (CSC) system—standalone Siyuan applications are not accepted.
Wenzhou University Scholarship for Outstanding International Students
Wenzhou University’s Scholarship for Outstanding International Students (Scholarship C) supports continuing international students enrolled for more than one semester in bachelor’s, master’s or Chinese language programmes. It covers 60%, 30% or 20% of one-year tuition, depending on academic performance and class attendance rank (top 1/6, 1/3 or 1/2 respectively). Applications close on 10 September annually.
University Scholarships of Jinzhou Medical University
Jinzhou Medical University offers two types of scholarships for international students enrolled in English-medium undergraduate and postgraduate programmes: a general scholarship (RMB 16,000 per year for postgraduates; RMB 2,500 per year for undergraduates) and an outstanding class scholarship (RMB 2,000, 1,000 or 500 per semester). Awards are decided during new-student recruitment.

The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) 'The Belt and Road' Master Fellowship Programme is funded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) to support up to 120 master’s students from Belt and Road countries. The CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme, jointly administered by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences, supports up to 200 doctoral candidates from developing countries to study at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences or University of Science and Technology of China for up to four years. It covers tuition, a monthly stipend, travel, and visa costs.
University of Chinese Academic of Sciences UCAS Scholarship for International Students
The UCAS Scholarship for International Students is offered by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences to support non-Chinese nationals pursuing Master’s or Doctoral degrees, joint programmes, or academic visits at UCAS faculties or Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) institutes. It includes full and partial awards covering tuition, stipend, accommodation, and medical insurance. Since 2016, it has primarily supported postgraduate students.
Yanshan University Scholarship Program for International Students (Docteral Degree Program)
The Yanshan University Scholarship for International Students is exclusively for non-Chinese doctoral candidates enrolling in Yanshan University’s Doctoral Degree Program. The scholarship is valid for four years, extendable to four years if one year of Chinese language study is required.
UJN President Scholarship
The UJN President Scholarship is awarded by the University of Jinan to outstanding international students enrolling in full-time postgraduate or PhD programmes. It covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend for PhD students. The scholarship lasts three years for postgraduate and four years for PhD study.
Yanshan University Scholarship Program for International Students (Matster‘s Degree Program)
The Yanshan University Scholarship Program is for international students enrolling in master’s degree programmes.
